Hi all
Within a week i already had 2 times issues with ABS (3 amigos) so it seems that i have to start taking care of it. Both times i had right front sensor output (intermittent) error. I could clear it both times and only ABS warning remained on which also gone when speed exceeded about 20kms/hour.
What and how should i double check before i start ordering sensor or wheel hub?
I have already checked wheel speed, all showed the same value (until about 13 when nanocom stopped showing higher numbers).

+1^^^ as long as the stationary voltage inputs are OK the problem in most cases is with play in the reluctor ring so new hub is needed

Hello Fery, thanks for the info!
Just one more question before I start changing the FR hub.... How can I double check if my Nanocom gives me the right information (a few days ago in an other thread the nanocom has "changed" the front and rear sensor:) and you also mention that on ABS related issues it is not 100% reliable)?
I know that the sensors could be checked by disconnecting them but how to test hub?
One more thing makes me not so confident is that about a year ago I also had amigos a few times but due to shuttle valve error (acc to nanocom). I did not do anything and for about half year no error.
Now it is back but hub related....

Unplug the FR sensor and if you'll get 0V live input on FR then that's it change that hub...if you get 0V on other sensor with FR unplugged plug it back and unplug another, check input, and so on untill you get 0V for FR on nanocom then you know that the unplugged one is the problem... or find somebody with other tester which covers the D2 ABS and check with that cos only nanocom has that glitch

Just be aware that the wires which are going into the original internal plug must be cut not spliced into them otherwise there can be cases when the old circuit gets some parasitic resistance which will be in parallel with the switch pack's resistance and that's not good.
I'm noticing now the picture of the spliced wires. yep...that's not good. Thanks.
There used to be a better tutorial that I followed on how to do the Option B mod but now I can't find it on my iPhone.
