Hi I have just been replacing the head gaskets and valve seals on my V8 (It had done 189K miles) I now have the valley gasket back on however there's a lot of injection loom in the way and I have damaged the valley gasket due to this, Can it be moved out of the way? there's a wire on the LH(looking at the engine) side that disappears under the AC/Alternator mounting and a coolant pipe that does the same, these are the real issue, If I could get those out of the way the whole thing becomes a lot easier. Also does anyone know what the manifold bolt thread size is? (some of these could do with running over with a tap)

I can't remember the bolt size to be certain but if the bolts take a 9/16 spanner, the thread is 3/8 UNC.
Are you absolutely sure it needs a tap. If you are using a composite gasket it will be misaligned. awkward but not impossible
