There is Alot of knowledgeable people on here when it comes to wiring correctly. And Alot have done the conversion i am doing. Would anyone in the Manchester area be willing to.come and point at which wires need to go where anytime this weekend and i will treat you? as its nearly ready to be fired up. Cheers dom

If anyone would like to give advice that would be a big help.The engine is from a 95 N reg disco.

From the brown multiplug Ive connected the..

Brown/green to perm live.

The white/purple to fuel pump. Earthed the fuel pump.

White/green to ignition live.

I didn't remove any wires from the coil so once its remounted in my engine bay i'm guessing its good to go as everything run sweet before removal. I broke the dizzy cap and one ht lead on removal as the engine hook is very close so i've replaced the dizzy cap and leads and rotor arm. Once all other earth and earth straps are connected Im hoping the engine should fire.

Can anyone think of anything im missing or any pointers? A few threads say it should be a brown, white/grey and white purple. But the discovery only has to offer a brown/green, white/green and white purple. Can anyone with better knowledge confirm this?

Im hoping to turn it over tomorrow after fluid changes etc.

yeah which seams to cause confusion. Today I finished off everything i could, to the point of turning the key. All electrics turned on, headunit, dash, lights. But when i turned it further to start nothing happens at all. The starter motor dosnt even try anything. Im totally stumped
