Can anybody please help, my V8 110 has started to chug drammatically when I apply power, if I find a sweet spot it drives along fine, only when I try to speed up fairly quickly this does this happen. When I buildup speed very slowly, it is fine. I have changed fuel filters etc, any ideas would be greatly received. Many thanks

float level, weak mixture worn carbs etc etc

have you checked timing, vac advance and centrifugal weights as they commonly go wrong with strobe light

Of course it could be many things, stating the obvious, go through the service items.

If you want a guess, Distributor Cap.

sounds like a misfire. As soon as load comes on you have the problem. maybe replace spark plugs and leads and spark plugs and move along that way. I had it in mine a few weeks back after driving for awhile on the motorway it would start to loose power. I came across the cause while having my landy apart. It ended up being the wire on to the ballist resistor had corroded and only had a couple strands left on the wire. The vehicle is not in a state to drive at the moment but i do know after fixing the wiring it would start so much faster than previous.
it is like the others say though, there are number of items it can be
