can anyone tell me if the solenoid on my 2a is the right way up, only the manual shows it to be with the terminals under it on mine the terminals are on the top, the problem is that sometimes it will not turn over not even a click, had the starter motor off checked it on the bench all ok, fitted it back on started first time, took it for a run switched off and would not start all ignition lights on but nothing, so gave the solenoid a tap and it started, or should I buy a new solenoid, but the one on it looks new, so is it upside down the cause of the problem, thanks for any help.
