hello,
About to get my hands on a rear disco axle for my 90. Not 100% on a few bits

Is the discovery 1 axle with 24 spline 300tdi onwards or 200tdi as well?

Either way does it have the 3 bolt flange or a 4 bolt?

If it’s 3, is it easy to change or worth swopping the diff?

Old, nackered 'n broke, but the Landy is fine . :)

All Discovery 300 tdi are 3 bolt flanges, and 24 spline. A new flange is easy to do .. especially off the vehicle when you can get to it more easily.

So just replace the flange.

It’ll be off the car so yeah I’ll give it a go.
