My FL2 2013 SD4 makes a scraping noise when in gear and only when put my foot down the accelerator, the noise turns to a higher pitch when higher speeds are reached and then only happens if I aggressively accelerate, when coasting or take your foot off the accelerator the noise stops straightaway.

Other than there is no other issue with the car’s performance, gears change smoothly but I only noticed kick back/sudden shift few times when I slow down suddenly. I have only driven the car once properly so haven’t taken note of this properly.

Any ideas what this could be? A mechanic checked it and couldn’t detect the issue or source of the noise. So I’m a bit stuck and I’d appreciate any help.

Engine mounts have been known to go soft, allowing the drive pulleys to touch things they shouldn't, so that's the place to start looking.

Brilliant I will check that. Is there any other bits that I should check?
Did you ever get to the bottom of this?
I've just started having this issue.

Rotating scraping sound when under particularly hard acceleration.
Quite as a mouse once I'm up to speed.
