Anyone out there experienced, know about, or have a solution to the following problem:
I have a low mileage 2012 RRS SDV6 that frequently, but irregularly, suffers from a flat spot when attempting to pull away from idle at junctions etc. (tends to be more prevalent when hot).
Initial acceleration (at lowish revs) gets a small amount of movement (about 1 car length) followed by a dead spot that occasionally lasts for as long as 4 or 5 seconds before picking up again. Neither tickling the accelerator nor flooring it seems to make any difference.
This tends to make crossing traffic lanes quite exiting !

Hello and welcome :)
i would say it needs to go on diagnostics to get the fault code or you could be whistling in the wind
saying that could be sticky turbo, a good thrashing may help.

Thanks Brian, thousands spent at agents, nothing on diagnostics and turbos are good.
