Hey FL2 collective.

LR electrical gremlins have struck.

The right indicators aren’t working on our 2012. The instrument cluster indicator light rapidly flashes, but all three right indicators don't work. All three left indicators work. All right indicator bulbs are OK as I’ve checked them Left bulb holders.

Is there a the fuse for the right indicators? I’ve checked the owners manual, the engine and passenger compartment fuse boxes, but can’t find it. Indicator/hazards fuses or relays aren’t listed in the owners manual either.

Does the FL2 have flasher units (like our FL1)? If so, are they in the steering column or somewhere else?

I’ve searched for indicator ruse and relay info online, but can’t find it, or it’s all for a 2006-2011 model.

Thanks!

The indicators are powered by the CJB. The fast flashing is indicating that RH indicators aren't drawing enough current. I suspect this could be down to a wiring fault, between the CJB and the RH indicator harness.

No flasher unit, as the CJB controls most vehicle lighting, including the indicators.

You can get specific diagnostic codes for the different options of indicator failure. Like short circuit or open circuit.

From the diagram it looks like the RHS front and rear indicator lamps are driven from separate outputs on the Central Junction Box. If the dash display lamp is flashing when the indicator stalk is moved, then the Central Junction Box must be receiving the signal to activate the indicators. So that would mean either the Central Junction Box is faulty or the wiring has a problem.

Thanks team. Car will be booked into a workshop that can read the fault codes as a start point. Then chasing electrical gremlins around the wiring harness will probably be next ;)
