Morning all,
Just purchased a V8 3.6 L322 and on driving home had 1/4 of a tank left then without warning decided to sit down on the side of the M42 in rush hour.. outside lane to hard shoulder rapid !! On being collected by Green Flags greatest I asked him to pull into a petrol station when I filled it up and low and behold it started up no issue.. Seems the gauge is faulty and on speaking to a mate he said that the tank needs to be dropped and the wiring checked as it corrodes and needs through wiring and as its gone to so much trouble draining the fuel and dropping the tank just as well replace the sender unit ? anyone else experienced this ? fingers crossed ill get the warranty company to cough up todo it..

Could be the lift pump or crap in the tank from the manufacturer??
Or just a RR hissy fit!!!

Wish it was ..it' still erratic now..put in half a tank drive 100miles and it' gone up ! My kinda tank ..

Just wondered can you access the cabling under the o/s of the rear seats like in the petrol version ?

That's a good question, I couldn't say not being familiar with your bus.. I guess just getting in there and looking. Check underneath with a good torch first, that way your not stripping stuff out for nothing.. sounds your on a bad run at moment. !!!
