Hi everyone, I'm very new both here and to range rover ownership.
So... A week ago I bought my first range rover. A 2010 Vogue tdv8.
The issue, I picked up my range rover a week ago whilst working in the south of the UK, I drove it trouble free for five days over a hundred miles or so then on Saturday when I embarked on my 270mile trip back home to Yorkshire. 30 miles in whilst accelerating away from roadworks and over a very uneven surface the car went into limp home mode, traction control unavailable, parking brake unavailable, reduced performance notices all at once. I pulled over half a mile later turned the car off and on again and all the warnings had gone, the rest of the journey was just fine with no issues.
The car desperately needs the tracking sorted (booked in this week) and hasn't been serviced in over a year.
Could the misalignment of the wheels twinned with the service warning being on cause this?
The gearbox seems fine short of a slightly slower than usual change between 1st and 2nd which I am hoping a oil and filter change will solve.
Other than that the car has been serviced every year at the main dealer.
Any comments welcome.
