Hi, everyone, I am in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and I just purchased a rolled 2010 Defender.Seems the accident happened about 3 yrs ago. I initially saw it 2+ yrs ago but didn't realize it was a Defender...then I saw it again and I looked at it for a friend. He wasn't interested because he's in U.S.A and can't own it, as I'm sure that most members know. Long story short, I bought it. Decided that starting a thread in the different forums out there in hopes of getting some online help. I have no keys as it was purchased from the tow truck company and they lost them a long time ago. Hopefully I can get some insight into where to get keys (if possible?). Since I am buying it 2nd hand is this possible without giving up your 1stbourn? Since it cant import into Mexico I am forced to transfer all or part of the drivetrain off the Defender to my Jeep. I am going to research (with help from here, hopefully) and if it's not cost effective I am prepared to consider it it a parts vehicle..... LOL Not particularly interested in doing that but can't afford to lose what I paid. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to a 2010 LR Defender powered 86 CJ-7!! LOL PS Look at my posts and you can see some of the issues I have regarding the swap, ECU, wiring diagram, keys, etc.... Thanks again
