Have a 200tdi engine in the 90, power steering pump is just used as an idler as no power steering.
A lot of play in the shaft so need to change bearing, anyone got the bearing number. Can strip pump and then order bearing but 90 will be off the road. Not wanting to fit power steering, just need to repair what I have or get a leaky pump as a replacement, should be a lot of them about.

Dunno if it fits, but I have a 300 Tdi power steering pump that has a good bearing, just doesn't pump as it should, so is in my 'broken bits that aren't too bad' bin!

You can have it for a fiver plus postage .. the fiver will go to charity!

Sounds good to me. I have the classic with 300tdi, will have a look at that pump and see if it is the same. Get back to you mon/tues.
