Is only in the right section because it is the 200tdi....but if it had been the 19j, then it would still have been in the wrong section

yes basic block ,pistons ,head ,rocker cover etc are the same,so disco engine makes a good source to repair worn out defender tdi as disco tdi is alot cheaper and more widly avaiable
