hi all do 200tdi engine have fuel shut off solenoids??????
does it need 1 or can it just have a return fuel line

also where is the starter relay located for the 200tdi
i have donor vechile still so is it near the fuse box

I don't know much about 200tdi engines but I'd guess there is a fuel shut off solonoid in the fuel injection pump and I'm almost certain that the starter solonoid is bolted to the starter motor.

How do you stop the engine without it?

The fuel stop solenoid will need to be ignition live. If you are converting from petrol then the positive wire off the ignition coil is your best bet.
