Hi All,
I'm replacing the washer and bleed screw on the fuel filter housing. I got a genuine land rover washer to replace from Brit car. They've sent the correct part, but it's just a gasket type material, not copper ring washer like original - pictured right. The original has an outer rim, looks like to sit plumb to the bolt shoulder below the head of the bleed screw. Should I just anneal old and use that? Or would the gasket do? Had some weeping issues before, so doubt using the old is worth while. Just concerned over the new ones quality.
