I have done a fair bit of searching but still haven't found any answers....

My 1989 90 is in need of a new exhaust. It was converted to a disco 200tdi and the downpipe has been bodged. If I were to buy the correct conversion pipe off ebay, which exhaust should I buy? The 200tdi defender or the 2.5td one? Will the 200tdi system fit onto the conversion piece as the 200tdi system seems to be more available.

I fitted the TD system to my ex NA - now disco 200 110.
The conversion down pipe will fit the TD system but you have to chop the end off the TD pipe and sleeve/clamp it to the conversion downpipe.
I don't like that idea so I also got a TD down pipe, cut the bell flange off it and welded it to the conversion downpipe.
My system is thus stock TD except for the downpipe .
