Who does, or would, use OMD90 in their 200TDI? I was clearing some ****e out of the shed and found 2 x 25ltr drums of the stuff (one full and one that I used around 6ltrs when I had the freelander). Would you use this on a 200TDi with 146k miles?

Google says thats 10/30 which may be to thin for your 200 especially with 146k on the clock

That was one of my concerns. I know most people on here recommend 10/40 part synthetic, so thought it best to ask before putting it in and regretting it.

Flog it to the ex military boys they love it as that's what it says they should put in on the army literature.

15/40 mineral in all my tdis over the years, cheapish if you buy 20/25 litre drum.

I used 5 30 in mine last week after the rebuild. Will move onto 10 40 in a few months when it's run in a little

Being an old tech engine, if the 5/30 is syn it may stop you breaking in the engine.
