Check engine light on my dashboard appeared earlier today. As a result, minimal response of the throttle (cannot go above 1500 Rpm and 40km/h. After using a diagnostic device on it. The 2 main issue (picture below) were :

P0308 (Cylinder 8 Misfire detected)
P0316 ( Misfire detected on start-up)

If anyone has any idea on how to resolve this issue, i would greatly appreciated it. Thanks

Hi and welcome. Have your plugs and coil packs checked. There could be other issues but that is one place to start👍

Hello. (Thanks for the reply ). I have progressed a little bit on the situation.

I have tried to disconnect each cylinder to locate the issue. And i think i have found the one that was causing trouble.

But after reconnecting everything and starting up the car . The check engine light disappeared (even after driving off ) .
As of today, the car run fine . Full power available at every gear. Basically the car behave like there wasn't any issue prior.

I will check on the plugs and coil anyway to see in what condition they're in. And if they need replacements.

Sounds like you have had the standard JLR bad connection that you have inadvertently cured with your disconnects.

They like a coil apparently, one of mine went bad it just goes in full limp mode and doesn't boost or have any go at all
