I had a flat battery last week, the garage replaced the battery under warranty. However i still had issues, took the car back and they realised they hadnt fitted it tight enough and it was loose.

Anyway what has happened now is that the remote keyfob wont open the doors, I can unlock it and it starts fine. But obviosuly it wont unlock all the doors so I'm constantly having to reach over and unlcok the doors manually which is a real nightmare. When I then get out and lock it it locks all of the doors fine.

But when I get back in it makes a loud beeping noise until I insert the key...

It not a disaster but I it is really frustrating..

As I said this only started when he battery was changed.

I have already tried to resync the key but that does seem to be working either ?

I suspect a fuse or something associated with the alarm system or somthing else, anyone got any clues ??

I have a basic ODB reader but it cant detect a fault, so if anyone has All Comms and is near mIlton Keynes I'd appreciate some help or advice

Do I understand correctly, the FOB will lock the car but not unlock it? If that is the case I cannot see it being a FOB sync problem.
Might be worth disconnecting the battery for ten minutes in case the BCM has got confused form the bad battery connections.
