Can anyone help? my defender is great and I love it, however I can use more power. Any suggestions

Is an 06 a TD5 ?

If not and your stuck with a TDCi (transit engine) I'd consider removing it and replacing it with a V6 or V8,

If you want a Diesel however I'd remap it and replace the Chip, wont last as long but should be good for 10 years

06 is the last year for TD5 so chip is an option, how about re-mapping?

Re map it, you'll get more bhp,

Ask on the defender forum what to aim for when remaping, I have a 300tdi so I cant help much lol
