2005 l322 td6 auto, anyone know off hand if headlight and sidelight fuses are in the boot?some how the lights are on without being switched on!what next?

HID or normal lights? LCM failed is a possibility.

just started doing it ,normal lights,has been sitting a while,just trying to get it ready for the mot

Judging by other reports, water can get to the LCM, can't remember if it's in the A post drivers side or B post, do a search on LCM location, something should come up.

LCM is on drivers side A pillar.
