Hello peoples

Trying to help a friend out who lives in Italy. He's trying to fit new pads to the rear of his L322 and he can't get the calliper piston to retract more than just a few millimetres. Is there a common issue with these callipers? He's never changed pads on a RR before.

Thanks in advance
Tony

The 17 year old piston has probably rusted so won't pass the seal. I had a new caliper fitted last year for the same reason.
Thanks Backinblack, it's difficult to assess when you can't see or feel it. Is bleeding the brakes a pain in the A hole like on the P38A?

TBH I couldn't be arsed doing it myself so let the local garage do it, for what they charged me it wasn't worth getting my hands dirty, from what I saw there wasn't much bleeding required.

Thanks Backinblack, just googled it and bleeding is straight forward unlike the 38's. Appreciate your time bud.
