Hi everyone, had a coolant hose burst today, evidently been rubbing on something a long time, only tiny hole but under pressure it emptied the tank and some coolant down to that level. Anyway the pipe in question is the one off the T from the tank, so feed from the tank goes down by the shock tower, then into a plastic T piece one goes left and I think to the heater? Or at least that direction the other (the one that has failed) goes down beside the inlet manifold/ steering column and roughly to the bottom of the engine where it joins into a metal pipe heading toward the front.
Iv managed to get a piece of 3/4 (20mm) hose and repaired it but the old pipe is tapered from 20mm at tank / T end and down to maby 15-17 mm at the metal pipe end so iv had to pack the new hose out to get a seal and double clipped it. Does anyone have a name or part number for that hose? As I’m really struggling to find the correct part. Thanks. Rich.

I’d looked at diagrams like that previously but the pipe I want doesn’t have a number. The pipe I’m after is the one above number 22/23 that shows the dot and dash line going to the bottom of the tank.

That’s the one. Thanks. I notice there two different numbers I presume I’d need the latest number with my car being a later model, hard to tell on there as clicking the numbers goes to a foreign language.

You dont have to click on the link cos it's clear that the second one is for vehicles with VIN(last 8 characters shown) beyond 3A828... which should be the case of a 2004 modell but check with your VIN to be sure

Will do looked online now iv a part number and few places sell it but all special order. Mines patched up for now so soon as new year is out of way I’ll get it ordered thanks for your help.
