Hey folks,

I was intending to fit the ashcroft CDL to my 2003 disco, having looked at the transfer box it appears that mine starts with a 69D.

This seems a bit odd as i was under the impression that all uk 2003 models had the internals? anyone else had the same problem?

i would fit the internals but ive got to be honest....it looks a bit traick and i done have a press lol

you dont need a press but you do need to re-shim center diff if swapping front housing

on a fecelift are only two options CDL fitted which means the whole package... or not fitted which means no internals too, it was not a "standard" equipment, it was optional for the first buyer

Mine had the whole package fitted there wasn't any extra fitted to my vehicle apart from a tow bar ( which was fitted for free ) as the first owner I used to work for ordered 6 all es premium 3 silver / 3 black

I found it varied on model type. My for 2002 ES I had to pay £250 to have it fitted at the factory. This option was available for all models. The ES premium eventually had it as a standard fit , them after that it was standard on the ES, then after that it was standard on a couple of limited edition models, but this was all in the last 18 months of Production, and after I bought mine.

Regards

Jonathan

My 2004 had it fitted as standard

So it must be a ES Premium then, as that was the only model in 2004 to have it as standard the other models which it was an option were Commercial, Pursuit and Landmark.
