I am hoping that someone out there could point me in the right direction and will be eternally grateful. Started with an airbag light on the dashboard and the front interior light not working. I put a diagnostic device on which said that the airbag had a fuse fault. Both issues started at the same time I think so guessed they might be the same fuse. So, I checked fuses that looked likely and they seemed Ok. Getting frustrated with that I then checked every fuse in the internal fuse box under the glove box and all appeared ok. Next day I went to start the car and I get a message on the dashboard saying sports mode and although everything that was working was still working, ignition lights come up etc, nothing happens when the key is turned to start. The diagnostics unit says that the engine is immobilised. I have tried a hard reset, charged the battery as it was also showing a low voltage and no improvement. The Gear selector can move up and down and shows PRND lights next to it. Has anybody any ideas or seen this issue before ?
