i’ve recently rebuilt the engine after head gasket failure, done everything as normal, i rebuilt one a while ago and that started straight up, this one doesn’t seem to want to,

new timing chains, all gaskets and everything replaced,

so i had an engine disabled message on the dash, i did the programming thing in the door lock, and got rid of the message,

the engine turns over but doesn’t seem to want to fire, i’ve seen a lot on other forums about fine tuning the fuel pump but am not sure on how that is done,

i’m unsure on what else it could be as it all turns over fine and it all ran before changing head gasket

Could be loss of sync but are you sure the chains are lined up properly? Wammers did many posts on this, although I am struggling to remember a good example where a member got it wrong and it needed a detailed explanation.

Not saying you did BUT it easy to get the wrong timing hole on the flywheel:eek: then after that it all goes wrong ,:(..

Yes, that's what I am thinking. Might be 180° out or may have got the other hole that's just before the TDC hole on the flywheel.
