can any tell me the best way to change the head unit but keep the harman kardon speaker set up, is there a lead and what sort of head unit as it will have to power the harman amp ?

i FOUND AS SONY MEX-R5 DVD CHEAP WILL THIS BE A STRAIGHT SWAP PLEASE HELP

I just put a Sony Giga Mex in my 96 300Tdi and it was straight swap. Bog standard multiplugs and an aerial. Dont expect remote controls on the dash to work though or compatibility with changer.

thanks are you running this straight in the harness through the amps what about the subs in the back door

got the sony mex-r1 dvd pluged it in and all works out of the box £179 halfords result
