Was hoping to get my RRC back on the road this week but it won't start. There is power to the in tank fuel pump but it aint pumping! The pump is only a few years old so don't see why it should have failed. There is a blue and white wire and black wire which connect to the pump. I've taken the pump out but unsure how to test it, I'm not great with electrics! Presumably i run some wire from the connections to a battery. Can anyone confirm how to do this, i.e which wire connects to what!?
Thanks

Was there fuel in the tank, daft question, no

Once got called out to a truck in the middle of the night 40 miles away on the snow, the driver was told what a twjt he was.

Black wire is usually earth wire so connect a wire from positive side of battery to to the blue and white wire and a from the negative side of battery to blck wire it will either run the pump if its good
keep it away from petrol though as it might spark if its shorting out and then that could be the end of all your problems except for getting it transported to wreckers

Thanks for the replies. Well i am an idiot!! Always thought it was a pump and sender in the tank but turns out it's not, just a sender! Confusion probably lies because it has been converted from a V8. So i spent a day trying to fix a problem that didn't exist, all experience i suppose!

That explains why it would not pump!

Does it still read fuel level, I think the windings in the sender unit were a bet delicate at times.
