Just bought a l reg 200 tdi and have a rather confusing issue so here goes on the gear stick the location of reverse states that reverse is across to the far left and up but to put mine in reverse is toward the right and back ?? Why is this has my disco got a later/early box on or has the selector been incorrectly fitted . This is my 3rd 200 tdi but can't remember were reverse was on my others as had them several years ago any info would be great

sounds like later box, as long as rev is ok why worry?
lt77 box is left and up. R380 box is right and down. as stated, later box.

Yep sounds like an R380 gearbox - get an R380 gear knob off ebay 
Yes and no lol it has a later bumper on but the lights have been taped up its def a 200 tdi tho

Same as mine then.. My old 200 bumper was rotten, so got a 300 on there now. The (end caps) fit isn't so good, but its near enough.
Mine fits fine but does look like end caps been modified a bit its had quite a lot of work done to it all round with checker plate on bonnet and sides also stainless exhaust as well as other stuff
