Hi, Just bought a set of defender axles from fleebay probably going to collect them next week but thought a may aswel ask if anyone was near bradford coming to derby notts area obviously happy to cross palms with paper ;) so if you can help you can easily make your money back from the fuel you use..

Thanks

Browny

Having just moved a pair of disco axles, don't forget you'll need a crane or 3/4 people to move them into and out of the vehicle!!

???

seriously?

you can get axles in and out of vehicles between two people easily.

(Series axles are even better - they're a one man job!)

There were complete with hubs, brakes etc.

Rear wasn't too bad by the front, with steering bars attached was not going to move even with 2 of us.

Thanks Steve,
Me and a mate lifted a couple in and out of a 110 a while back and fitted loads in iraq on dog**** Snatches, your right they are heavy, suppose i'm asking alot for someone to collect them,

Its really not a drama, i can collect but thought i would give this a whirl on the off chance someone happened to be passing by bradford and derby with a flatbed or trailer.. :)

Not trying to screw up your thread.

Just don't want someone to make the mistake I did and turn up thinking you can lift them without breaking a sweat.

Dont worry steve i know your not, I appricieate the advice, obviously more lifting the better really, might have to hope they guy that has sold them is as young and strapping as me :/
