you wont need any more dislo cones.

Im a bit disturbed that he has 2 bearmach springs and 2 possibly britpart ones. wonder why they are different. dont think mix and match is a good idea on suspension setups.

you have to add in the price of 2 shocks ontop of the final bid anyway, so your looking at £50 for 2 new shocks and then prob £100 final bid. thats £150 when you can get a full new set for £200.

is it worth it?

OK. I though I might have to buy the two new shocks. Thanks for the advice.

Im just after a cheap 2" lift to obtain more clearance under the diffs, when coupled with larger diameter tyres. If anyone sees any good deals then let me know. £100 would be better than £200. Im no bothered about load capacity or anything like that really. Hardly ever use it on the road.

Ive heard about spacers.... They any good ?

yer, but you can only go so big with 2" lift and a disco, thinking of chopping some bodywork? spacers are ok, i had some on my old 90.

Yep, they look ideal. Has anyone had good experience with spacers ?

I've used them with no problems, not hard to fit.
Make sure the spacers for the front have adequate access to undo the bottom nut of the shock absorber should it need replacing.
Otherwise it will be a time consuming job to replace one!

Cool, I think that might be the way forward for me. I assume that I still need to extend the brake pipes ?

I know I will probably just get a message back giving me the link to the "What size tyres can I put on my Discovery" but what can I actually get away with, in an easy and cheap to order size.

Also, any good brands to recomend ? (aggressive off road tread.) Ive been looking on Bronco but people have told me there are cheaper places with better tyres ?

Yes, I think Ill trim the arches still.

When you say the arches, I am right in thinking that this means bodywork pannels ? Not the actual wheel arch ? ( I Can't really explain exactly what I mean, but I hope you get the idea ?)

I know you can trim the rear doors too, but I would like to avoid that if possible !
