Pikey Dummy Ejection Facilitator.. Feb 7, 2010 #5 because the lowest part of your vehicle is the diff pan. and lifting the body isn't going to raise the diff pan 1 mm higher. so the only reason to fit a lift kit would be to allow you to fit mahoosive wheels as this would then lift the diffs.
