What is it you want to know

Hi Steve,

I'm looking at giving mine a lift in he next couple of months! And looking where I can get the bits and pieces I.e. Recommendations?

Kev

Depends how much you want to spend, I would stay away from Terrafirma though as they tend to rust quick and the bushes wear out quick (so I've read). I went for old man emu shocks (got them from flatdog as they were the cheapest place). My disco was converted to springs before I bought it so I modified the spring seats to give it a bit of a lift.
Is yours on air at the moment?

Fox 2.0 shocks FTW!
But yeah, skip the Terrafirma shocks. I learned that the hard way for my Disco 2 V8.

Is it just he shocks?
Or am im looking at adding between the springs?

Kev

Will need shocks, it's up to you if you want springs or spring spacers (spacers will probably be cheaper)

Also! I will be looking at changing the Front Turrets at the same time??

Kev

If they need doing, then you might as well get new ones while doing the lift. Might be worth getting new front spring relocates and the rubber rings (can't remember the proper name) for the back springs while you're at it

Just sounds that I just need rear Shocks (rear springs are new less than 6 months!) Turrets with new springs and shocks)!!

As said! In the next few months to get the bits and pieces!!??

Kev

If the rear springs are that new then just get 2" lift blocks and +2" shocks on the rear, and +2" springs and shocks on the front.
Turrets probably don't need replacing, but new spring isolators (rubber rings) might be worthwhile as mentioned.

Hi James, thanks for the info.
It was whilst doing the rear springs and shocks (Failed MoT on front Bushes!!) Replacements, that I looked at the front set! The body of the Turrets are in good condition! However, the seating areas for them are o_O questionable  so I will be looking at replacing them.
