I was telling a buddy that I had managed to change my oil, oil filter & fuel filter the other day feeling quite proud of myself because its something I'd not managed in the past, but he asked me if I'd changed both fuel filters.

Well I have looked on my Rave cd and can't find anything on there that refers to a filter other than the one under the bonnet. Can one of you good folks tell me if indeed there is a second filter and where I'm likely to find it if there is and indicate how easy it is to change.

There is just the one as far as I know in the 300tdi. However I know some have a fuel sedimenter back near the tank. Our 300tdi doesn't have this though.

Yip! There's one just in front of the fuel tank,usualy covered in cow ****e,mud, rust & dead mangled rabbit bits.

In theory this you just undo and clean and put the same one back on but 9 times out 10 the bolt breaks cos of the decaying rabbit reaction and yeh stuck at home with out one and think there about £40 squids!!!
