Evening gents,

My 110, 2.5na ex mod, started to run a little rough after starting it in the morning. Didn't pay too much attention to it as I prolly have a headgasket issue too :D except that at one point it just died after a few seconds of running. Not good. Needed the dutch ANWB (road assist guys) to help me get it going. We found out it was leaking from an injector, but not at the fuel line connection, but somewhere on the injector. Anyways, I got a new one, but I have some issues getting the old one out. It's very stuck, now I didn't expect it to pop out that easy, but it has been out a few months back. (needed new pistons and rings :D )

Anyway, if you guys have some tricks and tips on how to get that injector out, lemme know :D save me going home by train from my parents :D

Might be you never got a proper seal on that one and it's carboned up/overheated and stuck itself in the bore.

Gently tapping the ears back and forth might help - if you can get the studs out to give it more motion that might help as well. II always hesitate to whack too hard on an injector - the bottom of the casting there is thin and you don't want to damage the head.

Get a stud extractor - the type that take a 1/2" socket drive. Remove both studs. Get a big adjustable spanner/pipe wrench and start to wiggle/gently turn the injector, applying loads of releasing fluid. keep wiggling and applying fluid and it will usually come out.
