Im looking at getting a late 80's 90. Its a 2.5 petrol with a full lpg conversion. If i was to change the engine to a spare 3.5 v8 i have left would i still be able to use the lpg? I appreciate some small parts will need to be changed but on the whole would it be compatible?

Dont knew much about landies in general new to them meself, however I'm running a 3.5 v8 110 csw on lpg alls good.

Obviously the V8 has four more cylinders - so the system would need to be modified to allow for that. At the very least, the tank will be suitable for the V8.

Yea the tank was the main thing i was worried about. Im assuming the Petrol - LPG switch and filler will all be ok to re-use to.

Yep can't see why not. Have a chat with your local LPG fitting station, they will have a good idea of what you will need to get hold of.
