Evening all

Getting on with the 90 refurb, sorted out the engine so it is the original 2.5 lt and should be painted red!

Corrected some electric issues with new switches so now onto replacing fuel tank. Not yet out but on its way. One thing that has got me thinking regarding fuel is should the pump (intank version) keep running or should it have some sort of pressurisation system to switch off when enough fuel is pumped through?
Its just very annoying to have it running all the time when I have the ignition on to do any electric work, I know I could just pull a fuse but if there is a fault with the pump it would make sense to replace it while I am doing the tank.
Maybe this is normal? Any thoughts? (1985 2.5lt petrol two hole tank)

Thanks a lot John

Pump always runs as it uses a swirl bowl & excess returns back to tank.

you could put a security switch on it to turn off while doing the other electrical work ;)
