Evening All.
I've had a look at some previous threads on the subject, but not quite got answer. I've replaced the clutch slave on the vehicle today as the previous one had developed a fluid leak. I can't get the system to bleed, there's virtually no pressure and the pedal remains in the down position until you pull it up, operating seems to have little effect on the fluid pressure at the slave, bleed nipple.
The clutch was working fine yesterday and and the release arm is solid so I'm pretty sure it's not the internal pins.
I'm considering "back" bleeding the system via the slave, has anyone had any success with this or have any thoughts on the problem.

Hows the fluid level it needs to be topped up with engine running as the brake booster will drop the level and the clutch out let is high up, never had issues how about an easybleed kit.

Ah, I didn't know that the fluid had to be topped up with the engine running. I had the easy bleed on but all it did was fill the reservoir up, I need to have another go tomorrow with the engine running.

I found out the hard way you work on the brakes top it up to line then next time you start it up the level drops to low :eek:
 
Pretty sure when I replaced mine I just left the bleed nipple open and it pretty much bled itself. I just finished with the down and up business afterwards.
 
It's appear that there was a very stubborn airlock in the system. After an hour and a half of pumping the pedal and releasing the bleed screw, I managed to get a vague amount of resistance. Another half an hour got it to the point where I now need the assistance of another human to get the pedal as I would like it. The joys of owning a 24 year old vehicle I suppose.
