Stripped the front of the series today, undid all the ancilleries etc, and even got the engine out..... Did manage to put a spanner through the front of the rad though
Started to look at the difference between the 2.5 and the 2.25 lumps...
Flywheel is different, but both have 3 studs to align the pressure plate, straight swop I thought, nope, threads are different for the bolts.... But the clutch is a straight swop...
Exhaust manifold on the 2.5 goes down, not out the side, the 2.25 bolts straight on, BUT you must also use the series intake manifold, as the 2.5 will foul the exhuust one, but its all a straight forward swop over.
Thats it for today, can we keep this one serious please?
