M mormond New Member Oct 10, 2008 #1 Fitted alternator to my 2/4 some years ago, i remember we had to alter a few things to fit it. its a Lucas LRA 100 which is now shot. Can anyone tell me what type of alternator they fit to them now as a mod. Is it an LRA 100? Mark

rustyrhinos Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2008 #2 What do you mean as a mod? An upgrade? If so pick one from a Range Rover classic with all the electric bits - they are 80A and a perfect fit.
