Hi,

I have (my wife has) a new 2.2 Puma Defender. Yesterday the speedo started becoming intermittent. Now it has stopped working altogether. I live on the Isle of Wight and it is a pain and £50-00 to get it over on the ferry to Portsmouth (no dealer over here). Does anyone know what the cause may be and is it and easy fix or does it need to go the the maid dealer in Portsmouth. I took the dial cluster out this afternoon and the one connection was not loose and all seemed ok.

any help would be appreciated.
