I have recently gone for the Defender 2.5TD in my series (rather than the more popular 200Tdi conversion.
Budget & opportunity have led me down this path..... however - I know the 2.5TD's have a fairly bad rep.
Before fitting I have changed, cam & Fan belt, Skimmed Flywheel, Fit new Clutch, Heat plugs, Full Exhaust conversion from Steve Parkers, temp gauge sender, top rocker gasket & oil sump gasket - is there anything else I should be wary of?
