Hi,
On the last job I did on my FL which was the lovely thermostat and o-ring replacement job I had a chance to look under the engine.

I've found what I think are two leaks.

Could you tell what it could be and if there is a need to do anything with that?

there was a lot of oil inside of where I marked, I cleaned it a bit before taking the picture

From the location on the photos...
Picture 1 looks like a rear crank oil seal leaking into the gearbox bellhousing - ultimately this could damage the clutch, depends on amount (and whether it is a manual or auto !)
Picture 2 looks like the large O ring - much bigger than the one you did ! where the IRD fits into the gearbox. This will simply waste oil and contaminate the planet !
Keep an eye on your engine oil level and IRD oil level.

Also, beware, that leaks may appear at the lowest point (sommat to do with gravity) but may be leaking higher up so check carefully, maybe worth steam cleaning engine and then observing.

Neither is a simple job, if you are having gearbox or clutch work done then both could be done at the same time as IRD and gearbox have to come out.

First I need to read about the things you described :)

My first thought about leak no.2 was that the slave cylinder/release bearing is damaged and clutch oil leaks from there.
Clutch pedal travel distance is very short. So I thought that might be the reason.
The car had the master cylinder replaced about a year ago so this part should be ok.

The little rod looks like it is placed at a strange angle.
I'll bleed it when it stops raining (now is two days in the row) and see if this will help with the clutch pedal.
