Hi everyone, I have just bought myself a 2004 Defender 90 TD5 XS. This is the first Land Rover i have ever driven or owned. In general , my Defender is in very good condition inside and out and sems to have been more of a traveller rather than a offroader or workhorse since it has 130k miles with full service history and still running on General Grabber road tyres and everything else is 100% stock. A new Turbo was fitted just before i bought it too. After going through many posts i checked the red connector(ECU) and found oil in it. I got the part(free) from the dealer and will be fitting it in tonight. Are there any other issues i should have a look into? I would like to create an access hatch for the fuel pump as it seems these things seem to fail quite often and i will be using my landy for cross country and family adventures etc etc ... Since i bought it (a week ago) i put a new set of BF Goodrich ATs , steering guard , light guards etc etc and is looking much better now. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
