hi all new to the site thinkingof getting a 99 td5 es says timing belt changed been looking and people say it has a chain not a belt please help:(

Now I'm confused, when I popped the rocker cover off to reset the clearances on my injectors the other day I swear blind it was a timing chain....

Wheres the chain? I only see a belt on mine, just behind the rad on the right hand side, or is that something else?

mate there's is a chain on a td5 if your confusing the drive belt with a timing belt you need to do some serious thread reading before you buy because
1 you will be ripped off
2 you will end up bankrupt
3 your wife will leave you "because of that fooking car!"
as one and two bad, 3 might be an advantage:p have a search read up before you jump in.
p.s. your a noob so be careful what replies you get welcome
