I recently purchased a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's stock (4.0L 6cyl,
4x4 part or full time, automatic) except for a Flowmaster exhaust. It now
has about 107k miles and I have noticed a slight pause in the shifting of
3rd to 4th gear, then a sudden jerk. I'm not positive if those are the
correct gears but I'm usually traveling between 35 - 45mph. It usually only
does this occasionally, for instance once or twice, at most, each time I go
some where in it. I have previously owned Toyotas so I'm not familiar with
Jeeps except the older ones. If anyone knows what might be causing this and
any solutions I would appreciate it. Also if anyone knows the price range a
potential fix.
Thanks in advance
