Wolf Pack

it's 3 years since I pulled this apart and I, passing the 50% mark in terms of putting it back together.
I've come to assemble the slam panel and bonnet catch, but I can't see where the spring locates.

Any advice very much appreciated and pic below, assembled as it looks in the parts book, but I know that is frequently wrong:

It hooks on the slider and pokes up the hole halfway along square cutout.

Thank you, yes and, as I just found out after clipping it all up and undoing it all again twice, the spring needs to be in at both ends before it's all done up.
I need to adjust the two plates next and that looks like guesswork.
Have you done that before, Bob?

I have adjusted my bonnet because it was a bit out of line and tight to pull the release catch.
Also fitted new hinge bushes at the same time.
It will be best to just assemble and adjust when everything else is done - before fitting grill.

I'm a way away from that atm, but I will do it that way.

Wings & doors yet to go back on, but not that far away, hopefully in September for the wings and next week for the doors.

Hang it loosely and gradually pull it up, much like the rest of it has been.

All bushes and screws are new, as is the rest of the truck now.

This road is a long one.
