Hi newbie here . please can anyone help my indicators and hazards stopped working I have all relays and fuses checked but still got the fault.the RAC has pointed to a small green box under the glove compartment.can anyone help with the name of it and where I can get the part.plus I have to disconnect the battery every time I park up otherwise the battery (brand new) is flat. Any advice would be greatfully accepted

Land Rover call it CONTROL UNIT BURGLAR ALARM (security
although it also sends a signal to the immobiliser and central locking system.
Otherwise known as a security ECU.
Part number ANR4886 depending on the VIN and where you are in the world.
You remote fobs (transmitter plip) will have to be reprogrammed/replaced to match a new unit.

Hi, i have serious doubts that the alarm ECU is to be blamed as long as the only problem is that the indicators/hazards are not working and everything else is OK especially that it's not involved in the indicator's operation... you said you checked all the fuses and relays, describe how did you check the flasher relay to know it works

I am sure that that green box has nothing to do with the indicators..

I had mine stop working many many moons ago- also no hazards like yours

my failing memory tells me it was just a relay that needed replacement

the grey matter doesn't extend to which relay but the drivers side rings a bell
