Hi, I am a pround new owner of a 1997 300TDI Manual, The immobiliser has been disconnected. I found these block connectors under the steering column, can anyone tell me what they are for? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Could be for anything .. mine has loads of odd connectors, 'cos LR put a full loom in, but on some models, like mine, they don't have electric mirrors or windows or adjustable headlights etc etc ...

On my 1997 disco the wires that are covered in yellow tubes are the srs (airbag) wires - does your srs light work when you switch on the ignition and go out when the engine runs?

Thanks for all your reply. I have checked the six pin connector, the middle two green wires got power when ignition turned on.

My disco doesnot have airbags or srs warning light, the steering wheel looks like this, so I guess they use one loom to fit all models.
